Mike George

With the help of a dynamic team, Mike founded Steelhaus in 2008 forming part of a successful career entirely spent in the Oil and Gas Industry. Serving as President and CEO, Mike is responsible for developing long-term global strategies that leverage the infrastructures of Service Company Partners that have helped grow Steehaus’ portfolio of technologies.

 

A serial entrepreneur, Mike and his teams have become accustomed to capturing and building new market share through aggressive Organic growth. Steelhaus represents Mike’s second initiative in a successful venture primarily relying on core competencies including aggressive product development, manufacturing, and sales and operations towards innovative oilfield products. Mike’s first venture, Stellarton Technologies, served as a ground-up business environment for solving some of industries most challenging problems associated with declining reservoirs.

 

Stellarton would become the market leader in gathering systems, production enhancement, and associated management systems. Steelhaus is recognized globally as a leading driver for new products employed at Chevron, Exxon, Saudi Aramco, YPF, and many of the world’s largest Oil Producers.

Brandon Schneider

With over 16 years’ experience in down hole tools and completions products, Brandon has worked in a variety of Geo-Markets ranging from Western Canada to the Middle East. Brandon has over 10 years of field and sales experience in both conventional and unconventional completions.

 

Working for mid to large size energy companies, he has directed business operations, field ops and sales. Since starting at Steelhaus, Brandon has managed sales and operations of our Canadian line of completions products, positioning the Canadian operations of Steelhaus to the forefront of the industry despite a challenging economic climate.

Matt Mccarthy

Matt has been an integral part of the Steelhaus team since early in his career. From the inception of Steelhaus, Matt started fresh from university after graduating from UBCO with a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Starting as a drafter, Matt quickly expanded his knowledge and responsibilities as he progressed from Draftsman to Design Engineer, Engineering Manager, VP of Engineering, and finally Chief Technology Officer. Matt has been involved in the development of almost every Steelhaus tool used today, from initial CAD design to prototype, development and commercialization.

I am very proud to have helped build world class tools such as SLB’s Broadband, Steelhaus’ Thermal liner hanger line, and the PremiumPort line of valves. Over the last few years I have been completely focused on new product development bringing many new, different and exciting products to the industry.”

Matt Richardson

Matt began his oil and gas career at SAIT Polytechnic and then transferred to the University of Regina where he received his B.A.Sc Degree in Petroleum Engineering. Never afraid to get his hands dirty, he started his career in Grande Prairie Alberta. Years of hands on experience with downhole completions tools primed Matt for his move to Calgary where he worked with multiple clients helping to create solutions to some very unique challenges.

 

After joining the Steelhaus team in 2019, he has worked with the engineering team on sustaining projects and has lead the development and successful implementation of new tool designs across North America. With over eight years experience, Matt is successfully leading Steelhaus USA to the leading edge of innovative, cost effective and North American made downhole completions tools in a turbulent oil and gas market.

VP Finance, CPA, CMA

Evan Mutter

With 30 years experience working for privately owned Canadian businesses, and having held the positions of Controller, VP Finance and General Manager, Evan brings an extensive background in management, operational accounting, information systems development, tax planning and corporate finance.

 

His career began as a Cost Accountant in a manufacturing environment where he quickly rose to the Controller position upon completion of his CPA, CMA accounting designation. Those experiences, along with continuing education, have been the gate way to all senior management positions held since then.
